Please read these terms before placing an order.

By using this website, requesting a quotation, confirming an order or entering into a supply arrangement with LAWAD, you agree to the applicable terms described below.

Section 01

About LAWAD

LAWAD TRADING COMPANY LIMITED supplies food and related products to hospitality businesses and other commercial customers.

Our customers may include hotels, restaurants, lodges, resorts, catering businesses, commercial kitchens and other organisations.

Section 02

Use of This Website

You may use this website to obtain information about LAWAD, review product categories, contact our team and submit quotation requests.

You agree not to use the website in a way that may damage, interfere with or compromise its operation or security.

You must not knowingly submit false, fraudulent, misleading or unlawful information through the website.

Section 03

Product Information

Product categories, descriptions and images displayed on the website are provided for general information.

Actual brands, sizes, packaging, grades, specifications, origins and availability may vary.

Customers should state important specifications when submitting a quotation request.

Product images

Images used on the website may be illustrative and should not automatically be interpreted as confirmation of a specific brand, packaging, quantity or product specification.

Section 04

Quotations

A quotation request submitted through the website is a request for pricing and supply information. It does not by itself create a confirmed order.

LAWAD may review:

  • Products requested.
  • Quantities and units.
  • Preferred brands or specifications.
  • Delivery destination.
  • Required date.
  • Supply frequency.
  • Product availability.

Quotations may have a validity period. Pricing may need to be reviewed after that period expires.

Section 05

Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed only after LAWAD and the customer agree on the relevant products, quantities, pricing, delivery and payment arrangement.

LAWAD may request additional information before accepting or preparing an order.

Customers are responsible for reviewing quotations and confirming that product descriptions, quantities and delivery details are correct.

Section 06

Pricing & Payment

Pricing may depend on product type, quantity, availability, sourcing costs, transport requirements and other relevant commercial factors.

Applicable payment arrangements will be stated or agreed during the quotation or order process.

Unless LAWAD has specifically approved credit or monthly account terms, customers should not assume that goods will be supplied on credit.

Where taxes, delivery charges or other applicable costs apply, these may be included or identified separately in the quotation or invoice.

Section 07

Monthly Accounts

Monthly or credit-based supply arrangements are not automatically available to every customer.

LAWAD may assess a business before approving a monthly account arrangement.

Where an account is approved, the applicable payment period, credit limit and other terms will be agreed separately.

LAWAD may suspend or revise account terms where payments become overdue or agreed account conditions are not followed.

Section 08

Product Availability

Product availability can change due to supplier availability, seasonality, market conditions, transport conditions or other operational factors.

A product appearing on our website does not guarantee that it will always be available in every quantity, brand or specification.

If a requested item is unavailable, LAWAD may discuss an alternative with the customer. Alternatives will not be treated as accepted unless confirmed by the customer.

Section 09

Delivery

Delivery availability depends on destination, products, order volume, timing and transport requirements.

Information published on the Delivery Coverage page does not automatically guarantee delivery to every location.

LAWAD will confirm the applicable delivery arrangement before or during order confirmation.

Customers should provide accurate:

  • Delivery location.
  • Receiving contact.
  • Telephone number.
  • Access or unloading instructions.
  • Preferred receiving hours where relevant.
Section 10

Receiving Orders

Customers should arrange for an authorised person to receive and inspect deliveries.

Products should be checked against the confirmed order when they are received.

Fresh, chilled, frozen or temperature-sensitive products should be transferred to appropriate storage as soon as reasonably possible.

Material shortages, visible damage or clearly incorrect products should be reported promptly after delivery.

Section 11

Order Changes & Cancellations

Customers who need to change or cancel an order should contact LAWAD as soon as possible.

Whether a change or cancellation can be accepted may depend on whether sourcing, preparation, transport or other fulfilment work has already begun.

Some specially sourced, perishable, customised or already prepared products may not be cancellable once procurement or preparation has commenced.

Section 12

Returns, Shortages & Product Issues

Customers should contact LAWAD promptly if they believe an order contains an incorrect, damaged or missing item.

LAWAD may request supporting information such as:

  • Order or invoice reference.
  • Product name.
  • Quantity affected.
  • Photos where appropriate.
  • Description of the issue.

Because some food products are perishable, return or replacement eligibility may depend on the product, condition, storage and timing of the report.

Section 13

Limitation of Liability

LAWAD will use reasonable efforts to fulfil confirmed supply arrangements according to agreed requirements.

However, delays or interruptions may occasionally occur because of circumstances outside reasonable operational control, including supplier shortages, transport disruption, severe weather, infrastructure problems, government restrictions or other events.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LAWAD will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising solely from use of the website or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Applicable rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude legal rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Section 14

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the LAWAD name, branding, website layout, original written content and other proprietary website materials are owned by or used with permission by LAWAD TRADING COMPANY LIMITED.

Website content may not be copied, republished, reproduced or used commercially without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

Customers should review our Privacy Policy for information about the collection and use of personal information.
